What is Starter, and who is it for?
Starter is for small businesses that need a working website with booking (or an online store) and aren't ready for $495 a month. You pay $99 a month plus a small fee per job, so your plan fee grows with your business and never goes over $495. Add-ons you choose are billed separately.
How does Starter billing work?
Starter is $99 a month and includes your first 5 paid jobs. Each paid job after that is $15, and your plan fee never goes over $495. Starter for Stores works the same way: $99 includes your first 25 paid orders, then $2 per order, with the same plan fee cap. Add-ons you choose are billed separately.
What counts as a job or an order?
A job counts when its invoice is paid, whether the customer booked online, called you, or paid cash. If nothing is paid, it doesn't count. For stores, a paid order counts whether it was online or at the register, and refunded orders don't count.
So I pay more when I'm busier?
Only because you're making more. A $15 fee on a $150 detail is a small slice, and your plan fee is capped at $495 no matter how busy you get. In a slow month you pay $99. Add-ons are billed separately.
Are you taking a cut of my sales?
No. It's a flat fee per job, not a percentage. A $300 ceramic coating costs you the same $15 as a $100 wash.
Do jobs from my own ads count?
Yes. The fee is for the booking and payment system every job runs through, not for where the customer came from. If your ads have a big month, you hit the $495 plan fee cap and pay no more for jobs. Add-ons are billed separately.
How do I know your count is right?
You can see your paid invoices in your own dashboard, and we'll send you the month's list on request.
When should I move to Foundation, and do I lose my setup fee?
When you're regularly hitting the cap, you're already paying the $495 plan fee cap. Moving up gets you everything in Foundation with no per-job fees. Your $900 Starter setup fee is credited in full toward the $3,500 Foundation setup.
Is the Audit credited too?
Yes. Up to $1,000 comes off your setup fee when you sign up for a plan, so on Starter the $900 setup is covered in full. The credit only reduces a setup fee and isn't paid out as cash or applied to monthly bills. Credits don't stack: if your Readiness Scan was already credited toward the Audit, you get the $1,000 Audit credit, and the most that ever comes off a setup fee is $1,000.
